Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have more agents that you work with?

Yes! As you’d expect with any amazing business, we partner along with our agency owner; Travis Wilson whom is based out of Minneapolis, MN. We have agents who help their local communities all across the US. You can learn more about our extended family here – ibgfhl.com

I already have major medical, why would I need this?

I get this question often and love explaining this. If a bad accident or illness left you unable to go to work for 6 weeks, 3 months, heck even a year; what would you do to pay your bills? What would you replace your paycheck with? How long could you keep your normal day to day bills afloat before your savings is gone and you have to start selling things? Your major medical pays the doctors and hospitals. We pay you so that you can keep your day to day living flowing smoothly. We help you maintain your lifestyle.

THAT is what supplemental health insurance does. Which is often why we get told we are the “back up” plan.

Are the policies customizable to a family?

YES! All of our policies are based around need and budget. We work with individuals, married couples, single parents, and families. There is no “one size fits all” when working with your specific needs.

How long does an appointment take?

Running through our policies and explaining them usually takes around 20-30 minutes. Now I have been known to be a social butterfly so I always ask the person sitting across from me what sort of time frame they need this to work in! I can have benefits explained, questions answered, and coverage in place for you all within your lunch break.

WHY OUR AGENCY IS DIFFERENT

Not only do I have a passion for meeting new people, I also am absolutely dedicated to you and your family having the absolute best customer service. We know what it’s like to have to use the coverage for something like a broken bone (or several!) as well as when a health crisis changes your life forever. I was fortunate enough to have explained the benefits to my own parents and have them decide to add this layer of protection only months before my dad would have a massive stroke and not be able to return to work. We truly understand that when you have to call someone to start a claim, it can be the most stressful time of your life. We want to make sure you’re not navigating into the unknown alone.
